When James Bond is jonesing for a little mountain air, where do you think he sets his sights on?

Gstaad? Val d'Isère?

Good guess, but these days 007 is checking in at Snowmass. How can we be so sure?

Well, we’re not one to reveal sources, but someone tipped us off to a cache of zebra-clad, ready-at-your-beck-and-call ski bunnies that Bond has been spending a lot of QT with lately. They’re called Chicklets, and they’re a rare breed found only in Colorado -- in the Viceroy Snowmass’ Nest Cafe, to be precise.

Their natural habitat? Slopeside, while serving up the meanest cocktails in town. And we mean that literally … the drink menu is based on Bond villains.

So hand your poles to the ski valet, loosen up those boots, and grab a seat by the outdoor fireplace.  The poolside lounge offers food until 10 p.m. (as well as private cabanas, if things get steamy) so you’ve got all evening long to sample the Asian-inspired menu and enjoy the view.

If you’re after a more proper meal, head upstairs to the Eight K restaurant, which offers a broad selection of seafood, salads and classic mountain fare.

With your battery recharged – Colorado lamb really is the most efficient source of fuel – it’s time to have some fun. You’re in luck, since Eight K offers vintage cognac around a fireplace fit for a double agent. Or you can just grab a seat at the bar... the longest of its kind in Colorado.

Then again, you could just head back to your room. It’s certainly large enough to host the après après-ski party.

Want to see just how large? Check out this 30% OFF deal from the Viceroy Snowmass.
